Tickets and prices
We are happy to say that the Somuna Festival has grown from 2008 to 2010. However space at our location is limited and in 2010 we had to close the doors early, since we could not allow more visitors. The natural circumstances of our location set the limit of visitors and we do not want the Somuna Festival to become crowded but keep the familiar atmosphere.
In view of the development of the last edition it is safe to assume that the festival will be sold out in 2012 as well. If we would sell tickets at the gate we would have to reject people there sooner or later. For reasons of organisation and safety we can not allow this to happen and therefore Tickets will be available through presale ONLY.
The prices for a 4-day ticket:
15. January - 29. February 2012
80 CHF (ca. 65 Euro) -- Maximum 505 Tickets (SOLD OUT)
1. March - 1. May 2012
110 CHF (ca 90 Euro) -- Maximum 1515 Tickets
ADDITIONALLY the cable car hast to be payed which costs 10 SFr (8 Euro) as well as the fee for "Starticket".
The cable car usually costs 17 Euro, Somuna guests receive this special price.
www.starticket.ch - Tickets can be purchased online with all kind of cards or at Swiss trainstations in cash.
What do you get for the money?
- Exclusive camping site in a wonderful location where camping usually is not possible including water, toilets and showers. (Camping in Switzerland easily costs 15-20 Euro per night)

The Somuna Festival is a NonProfit-Festival. All contributors have normal Jobs and organize the festival out of pure idealism and in their free time. The Budget 2012 compiles more or less like that:
- 25% Soundsystem and electric installations
- 18% Sanitation, various material, garbage, various smaller positions
- 15% Rent and insurance for the land for the festival and parking, various permission fees
- 16% Lightening and Stage, Line Up
- 10% Security and parking personell
- 8% Tents and Sunprotection
- 8% Bar infrastructure und personell, expenses of all contributors
